Hi guys, the first day was very exhausting, we took the plane at 15.00 and arrived at 22.00. When we finally got to Mexico I couldn't believe it. We went to our hotel (Hogar del Descanso) which I did not know what the name of the hotel meants since I do not speak Spanish, but in summary the hotel was fantastic spacious rooms and exquisite food.
Once established, it is time to know what our plan would be for these 4 days of vacation. We would have all kinds of plans from trying the typical food, visiting the local fauna, seeing the great monuments and enjoying its incredible beaches. But let's start with today.
As our first day we toured the fantastic streets of one of its most beautiful cities, Cancun, our hotel was located near there just 3 km away so we went for a walk.
Cancun is a city in Mexico located in the Yucatan peninsula that It borders the Caribbean Sea and is known for its beaches, numerous tourist centers, and nightlife. It is made up of 2 different areas: the more traditional downtown area and the Hotel Zone, the coastal strip with tall hotels, nightclubs, shops and restaurants. Cancun is also a popular destination for students during the spring college vacation period.

From this day I would like to emphasize that the incredible thing about this city was the great tropical wealth that it had, each corner of it was alive with many always lively people, music and typical Mexican food.
We also took a transport to see the amazing Chichen Itzá pyramid, one of the oldest and most characteristic of this site.
That was basically our 1 day in Mexico, and it was most memorable, but this only started more because on the second day more surprise awaited us.
